It could lunar south pole to support a human base?

The space agencies of Europe and Russia are sending the first spacecraft to land on an unknown region the lunar south pole.

It is one of a series of missions that will be to lay the groundwork for an eventual permanent settlement on the lunar surface.

The probe is to evaluate drill deep into the earth and whether to make enough water fuel and raw materials and oxygen.

European scientific mission leader, Dr. James Carpenter, the European Space Agency, the place of intended landing described and explains why it may be rich in resources for development.
