Astronomers have taken the first image of a black hole in the heart of a distant galaxy called M87 in the cluster of Virgo galaxies.
It is 40 billion kilometers long and 3.3 million times the size of the earth.
The Horizon Telescope event used a network of eight telescopes from around the world to obtain the image.
