How cow dung can help combat climate change

There are three times more carbon in the soil than in the atmosphere, but this carbon is released through deforestation and bad agriculture.

Soil injuries affect the climate in two ways: they affect the growth of plants that absorb carbon in the atmosphere and release carbon from the soil that was previously stored in worms, creating leaves in the soil.

Liberation advocates say the best way to protect the soil and fight climate change is to regrow the forests. However, some farmers believe that they can continue to produce food while changing the way they grow to sustain themselves. Floor in good condition.

In Treviso, Italy, a pilot plant was opened with the support of the world's largest diaper manufacturer Procter & Gamble.

It is planned to offer single-layered baskets to parents throughout the city, which will then be picked up in separate garbage collections by trucks.

Planning the future of forest ecology of Thetford.

The Forestry Commission is working on ideas to prepare the future of Thetford Forest in Norfolk for the next century.

He recognizes that the way in which we use our forests is changing and the production of wood and food for recovery remains.

The plans also hope to protect themselves from the effects of climate change and disease by planting new trees and giving more diversity to existing species.

"We're trying to see how we can handle our landscape to offset all these benefits," said Eleanor Tew, a Ph.D. student at the University of Cambridge, who works with the Forestry Commission.

The long-term goal of the project is to protect the environment "for future generations," he added.

Air Pollution: What are the effects on humans?

Air pollution encompasses everything from combustion gases to very fine particles resulting from brake pad damage, wear on roads, construction sites and dust in general. ,

Research has shown that gases such as nitrogen dioxide and tiny particles, called particles or particles, can penetrate deep into the body with the risk of permanent damage.

The most obvious effects affect our breathing: they increase the risk of asthma attacks and pneumonia.

BBC science editor David Shukman explains how air pollution is also related to strokes, lung cancer, heart disease and possibly dementia.

A "quick fix" to capture carbon dioxide?

CO2 is a strong fuel gas, but the atmosphere contains very little. Every million air particles produce 410 CO2.

Gas increases temperatures worldwide, but its relatively low concentration makes it difficult to design efficient machines to remove them.

However, a Canadian company, Carbon Engineering , believes it has found a solution.

The air is exposed to a chemical solution that concentrates CO2. Additional refinements mean that the gas can be purified in a form that can be stored or used as a liquid fuel.
