As a "pancake ice" on the River Dee in Aberdeenshire

The River Dee in Aberdeenshire, provided a spectacular winter scene with the creation of hundreds of "pancake ice".
More commonly seen in the Antarctic, gelfoam night is believed and shapes in a circular pattern against shock strands together.
