Fears of health on chemical BPA in food packaging made of plastic

To keep food and beverage containers cool and enjoy a longer life.

Plastic is commonly used in food packaging, bottles, packaging materials and can coatings.

But the plastic container (BPA is also called) with bisphenol A has received increasing attention.

In France, the decision to ban BPA in food packaging since January 1, 2015, was made due to health problems.

, Other Government scientists around the world say, but it is safe to consume food and beverage plastic containers BPA in small amounts.

Reporter Rachel Royce looks at the controversy over BPA and asks if he will be banned from food packaging in the UK.
