New app aims to identify birds

A mobile application that recognizes the birds singing is developed by a researcher at the University of Queen Mary.
The goal is to use new technologies to bring people closer to nature, and also, to use the data for research on the number of birds.
Dan Stowell, a researcher at Queen Mary University, explains the difficulties of identifying birds while ornithologist David Darrell-Lambert explains his hopes for the application.
Florence Wilkinson, co-founder of Warblr explains the potential of the application in the conservation impact.
