Explosions Etna lava and ash into the sky

Etna, the volcano on the Italian island Sicily broke dramatically.
Etna sent a pillar of fire and ash into the sky, several kilometers high.
The eruption caused the closure from the nearest airport in the Italian peninsula and left several towns covered with a thick layer of ash.
