Powerful hurricanes in Mexico, Ethiopia Drought, floods and landslides in southern California - have to attributed to El Niño weather phenomenon.
Occurring several years is recognized one of the strongest El Niño and could help make 2015 the warmest year on record.
But what is El Niño?
