A year in space: Soyuz docks with ISS

A Russian Soyuz spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) docked with three astronauts, two of which by record spending 12 months.
Doctors observe the effects of weightlessness on the pair over the standard six-month deployment.
NASA wants to collect data for possible manned mission to Mars.
