Advance understanding of whale communication

We all know that whales navigate and communicate through sound. But scientists are still trying to understand how and why some whales various auditory systems developed.
The Smithsonian Institution in Washington researchers believe that they have found a clue - it all depends on the movements of the jaw and are used depends whales to catch food methods. And as reported by Jane O'Brien, the results are important for nature conservation.
