The plastic bag has become a symbol of the problems caused by plastic contamination.
But according to the family of the man who created it, Sten Gustaf Thulin, his design should help the planet and he would be surprised and annoyed to see what has become of it.
The Thulin family does not profit from the sale of the bags.
