How do you breathe less pollution in school?

The families in Sheffield participated in a test to determine who was most contaminated on the school route: children walking, cycling or driving.

The experiment allowed three families to bring air quality monitors to school to measure PM2.5 levels. These are small air pollutants that are about 30 times thinner than human hair.

It was found that every means of transport exceeded the safety limit recommended by the World Health Organization, but which was the worst?
