A rare bird of prey, once threatened with extinction, has more than doubled in eight years in a national park.
Hampshire has listed 20 breeding pairs of the northern Azores , but Forestry England reports that 40 couples now live alone in New Forest.
Raptors are referred to as "spirits of the forest" because of their elusive nature.
