Hydrogen trains: Are these green trains of the future?

The hydrogen-powered trains would be the greenest there is.

A researcher at the University of Birmingham describes them as "miniature power plants with wheels" because they do not produce emissions and only produce water.

Two hydrogen trains are already in operation in Germany, but this version is not compatible with the rail network in the United Kingdom.
