2015 the warmest year, according to meteorologists

Global temperatures in 2015 have been the warmest in history, according to meteorologists in the UK and published in the United States.

Met Office figures show that 2015 was 0.75C above the long-term average between 1961-1990.

US data in 2015 suggests that "broke" the temperature record for the largest margin ever.
