Mortal combat mange in wombats of Australia

Wombats are among the most beloved animals from Australia, but are known under the threat of a painful illness and fatal skin disease such as scabies.

The disease has hit particularly hard in the National Park in the north of Tasmania Narawntapu that killed two-thirds of residents Wombats.

A solution may develop in the form of a simple treatment by researchers at the University of Tasmania Alynn Martin, who controls the spread of scabies in the Park.

BBC News joined Martin and his colleagues in the field and discovered that little Wombat fight sequences and the surprise of some low-tech devices can get everything you need.
