A team from the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is the mark detection and scoters women, to find out why these birds so sharp drop in the UK.

Only 35 pairs of birds breed now in Great Britain each year, most of them on the lakes in the highlands of Scotland.

Ducks are a rare species of British birds that is very little known.

Their nests are well hidden by some of the most remote landscapes in Britain, hinder the search and study.

But WWT researcher Ed Burrell spent the summer at a secret location in the mountains, in order to monitor, detect and mark birds under siege.
