The hunt for dark matter: the experience of the United States reached a critical stage LUX

Finding the search for the mysterious particles in the universe, is in a critical phase, scientists say.

Experience in the bottom of a gold mine in South Dakota, USA, was still the best opportunity to detect dark matter.

Scientists believe that this substance represents more than a quarter of the universe, but no one has ever seen directly.

The first results of this detector, called LUX, confirmed that he is the strongest in its class experience.
