Stephen Hawking "wins the debate about inflation"

Scientists say that they support an extraordinary new evidence for the Big Bang theory of the origin of the universe.

Researchers believe they have found the signs in the sky by the super-fast expansion of space that occurred in a fraction of a second must have left after all that is born.

Tom Feilden BBC discusses the importance of these new findings, says Professor Stephen Hawking before the Today program BBC Radio 4 by the latest discovery in the context of his previous work.
