An American explorer descended almost 11 km to the lowest point of the ocean, the Mariana Trench in the Pacific.
Victor Vescovo spent four hours exploring the bottom of the trench and threatening to implode if his submarine imploded.
The dive was later tested at 10,972 m and Victor was the first to reach the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean.
