Leuser Rainforest: Do palm oil farmers harvest orangutans?

The deforestation of forests through the cultivation of palm oil pushes orangutans into the path of farmers who pull animals with air pistols to eliminate them.

This series shows animals from the rainforest of Leuser, Indonesia, and people trying to rescue them. Leuser is one of the most biodiverse sites in the world.
