Drax Power leaves work plan for reducing carbon emissions

Drax Power Corporation has announced abandoned the introduction of new technologies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions of the largest in the coal-fired plant in the UK.

The company also produces energy from biological material, and said that a reduction of government subsidies for renewable energy means that you can not afford to pay for both plans.
