A couple that survived an encounter with a humpback whale while kayaking talked about how they "thought [they] were to die."

Tom and Charlotte Mustill Kinloch London were floundering California near Monterey Bay when the incident occurred.

She told the BBC that the whale landed on kayaking and underwater.
