ISS astronauts bite the surface cultivated lettuce

The astronauts on board the International Space Station (ISS) tested the space-grown lettuce.
Red leaves of romaine lettuce were grown completely through the team and marks the beginning of "vegetarian" project, which will see more food grown in space.
NASA scientists say that fresh foods have a positive impact on the health of astronauts.
Astronauts to grow plants in space research for years, but this is the first time were allowed to eat their products.
