Call for rethink slaughter rabbits

Environmental groups ask the government for a moratorium on clearing snow bunny chicken on the heath.

They say the animals are slaughtered widely across Scotland and it takes time to assess the impact of logging.

Gamekeepers and landowners support would be irresponsible for the environmental movement.

Snow Bunny Bunny are native Britain and protected from indiscriminate methods of killing under the Habitats Directive of the European Union.

Tim Baynes, director of Moore of Scotland Group , part of the country and Scottish farms and Simon Jones, the Scottish Wildlife Trust said BBC Scotland.
