Three Sisters resources in Florida had to be closed to the public after a large group of manatees gathered in the region.

Officials estimate about 300 marine mammals flocked to the docks in search of warmer waters.

As the temperature drops at the beginning of the year, manatees usually travel to Florida Citrus County.
