Scientists at Harvard University have convincing evidence that the folds in the human brain are simple physical product whose outer layer is quickly and wrinkled.

They made a replica, always soft and used, and with a second layer, which, when expanded placed in a glass jar filled with solvent fetal brain covered.

This product consists of a network of roads, which is very similar to the tendency of a real human brain - taken and a computer simulation of the process into adulthood.

The research is published in the journal Nature Physics.
