E-waste: Royal Mint wants to turn your old cell phone into gold

Every year we throw away millions of tons of e-waste: old computers, cell phones, televisions. They all have circuit boards on them.

Now the Royal Mint has figured out a way to turn them into gold, which they plan to use to make commemorative coins.

BBC Science editor Rebecca Morelle visited their factory in Llantrisant, South Wales, to find out how it's made.
