Frog Rescue: Last hope for endangered amphibians

Zoo Conservationists say a new breeding program, the "last chance" to the endangered amphibians, the mountain chicken frog to save from extinction is.

In the culmination of an effort from 20 years to save the nature, some breeding pairs have been genetically selected and moved in a transport container, which was converted into a miniature tropical paradise.

The hope is that the animals reproduce and that offspring are released to repopulate their natural habitat.

(This is a joint project between Chester Zoo, London Zoo, Durrell, Nordens Ark and the European Association of Zoo and Aquariums).
