VIDEO: Tyrannosaurus rex dinosaur solves puzzles

A newly discovered dinosaur - types could be to develop the key to explain why T. rex has become so large and dominant.

The new Tyrannosaurus called Timurlengia is aged 90 million years. There comes a point in the fossil record shortly before tyrannosaurs their size began to develop.

Discovered by American researchers based and Russia are working in Uzbekistan, and studied at the University of Edinburgh, the skull of the creature seems to have some of the secrets of success of tyrannosaur.

Dr. Stephen Brusatte of the University of Edinburgh showed the reporter Victoria Gill Science fossil BBC.
