Forty years Spaceshots

David Malin has four decades to take pictures of deep space. Their work led to the invention of new imaging techniques and the discovery of the largest known spiral galaxy - Malin -1.

Now already retired, was in Sydney, Australia, a contest held to inspire the next generation of astronomical photography.
