Peggy Whitson: Takeoff to the ISS for older woman in space

Astronaut Peggy Whitson took into the room for his third mission from the International Space Station.

He took from Baikonur cosmodrome from Kazakhstan and is the oldest woman to be in the room when she turns 57 mission.

On board with him the Soyuz spacecraft is cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, the Russian and French newcomer Thomas Pesquet.
